Will Smith doesn't need The Magic Hundred!
I've always liked Will Smith. He just seems to have some special spark that shines through in everything he does. Maybe I'm just naive (my wife thinks so), but he strikes me as an authentically "good guy."
Anyhow, I just stumbled across this "renegade footage" of him chatting about his personal philosophy of life, success and positive thinking. I thought it was worth sharing:
-------
-------
If you took the time to watch the clip (I hope you did - it's worthwhile), you probably noticed the theme of focusing your energy in order to exert your "will" on the universe and invoke whatever outcome you are after. When you try to express such a thing, it comes out sounding very metaphysical, but in reality it ends up being more like the constant drip of a stream against a rock. Bit-by-bit, the stream wears away a groove in the rock over centuries. Your will, and the consequent small actions that flow from your concentration on the outcome you want, eventually wears a groove in your reality.
Dax Moy, in his The Magic Hundred program, attributes this to the Reticular Activating System. He's referring to a part of the brain that he believes is activated to help us achieve our goals once we have set our sights on them. This is what he has to say about it:
Hi likens it to what happens when you start thinking about buying a certain car. All of a sudden, you start seeing that make and model everywhere. He believes the same type of attentional power is brought to bare by focusing on a goal. And I think this dovetails quite well with what Will Smith says about bending the universe to your will, and lends a more concrete interpretation to it.
I've been using Dax's program for over 40 days. It's not magic, but it has absolutely allowed me to push through and complete some of the "dangling" projects that had been on the to-do list for way too long.
I've mentioned this before, but what I like best about the program is the daily email reminders I get. Strangely enough, today's email fit perfectly with Will Smith's clip. Here's an excerpt of what Dax had to say:
D'you know that old saying "if you can conceive it, you can achieve it"?
Well it's only PARTLY correct y'know.
But...
If you can conceive it and you BELIEVE it, then it's already yours.
Strange how the very line of thinking I was on today jived with the email that got sent out. Food for thought. Click here if you want to read more about Dax's program.
Cheers,
Adam

I agree, Will Smith has always struck me as one of life's genuine good guys. Great focus, great heart, great spirit and a great attitude toward sucking the marrow out of life.
Great video indeed, thanks for including me and Will Smith in the same post. I'm honored!
Truth, joy and love to you

Will Smith has been a favorite in my family, probably because his real life authenticity is so well displayed in his films. He's absolutely right - our thoughts are just as physical as this computer I'm typing on. Our thoughts create our actions.
I found it most interesting that he brought up the idea of facing negative thoughts by walking through it, over it, and around it.
It's like he doesn't have time for negative thinking, and I think that is evidence enough for his success.

Hey John,
Glad I'm not the only one to see Will Smith as an authentic figure. No time for negativity... like it.
Dax,
It's an honor to have you drop by! Thanks for helping me along the way to my own personal development.
