As we head into the weekend, I thought it would be nice to share with you this little piece of inspiration. It's nice to see that true sportsmanship still exists. This is the story of how a whole community gave an unexpected gift to a team of young men who needed it most.
The coach who sparked this gesture of generosity and respect was just an ordinary guy. But his regard for the beauty and the lessons of sport served as a vehicle for a true moment of greatness. I'll be thinking about this over the weekend and wondering if there are any small opportunities for me to do something worthwhile for someone else.
Enjoy the weekend!
Cheers,
Adam
