Pressure, deadlines and financial worries can pile up throughout the week, leaving you feeling stressed. It's important to cut the chords, if we can, and move into the weekend with a clean slate so we can enjoy family, friends, hobbies and sport.
One of the best ways to make that happen is to indulge in a good belly laugh. The scientific evidence isn't all that deep yet, but there seem to be pretty solid links between laughter and our overall well being. It seems to boost the immune system. And it's even been associated with improved insulin sensitivity. But all that aside, it just makes you feel good, and can help you make that all important transition from work to play.
So as you finish your week, give the video below a watch. If you're able to watch this without laughing (or at least smiling) then you are one grouchy bugger... I had tears welling in my eyes as I laughed along with the second guy.
